Spring Plant Sale
We held a successful spring plant sale on Saturday May 23rd at Fredrick Banting Alternative School. Lots of perennials including native plants.
Thank you to all our great volunteers, including some of the students

Legion Garden Spring Cleanup
For the last couple of years, we have volunteered to cleanup the front garden at the Stittsville Legion.
It's a challenge: sloped garden on Stittsville Main St, exposed to full sun, pollution and only rain for watering.
It is becoming a mostly native plants location as they are tough enough for this environment.
Hope you enjoy the flowers on a walk down Stittsville Main Street!
Each spring, we volunteer as a group to pickup litter on/beside the Trans-Canada Trail, usually between Sacred Heart High School through Village Square Park, then west of Stittsville Main Street.
It's a great way to make a difference to the wider Stittsville community. Stittsville frequently ranks #1 across Ottawa for the volume of cleanup projects and engaged volunteers.
Student volunteers welcome. Great way to earn some of those volunteer hours during high school.
